Introducing a New Standardized Report on Open Data Quality

After the release of the initial Open Data Quality Report, the upgraded version is now available, offering a comprehensive and user-friendly view of the quality of datasets published on the Open Data Portal. The new Power BI report enables simplified monitoring of key quality indicators and provides broader insight into the overall readiness, reliability, and usability of open data resources.

A key enhancement of the report is the implementation of the standardized Power BI theme developed by the Office for IT and eGovernment. This unified visual approach improves readability, ensures consistency, and supports clearer interpretation for both data publishers and data users.

The report provides a structured overview of multiple aspects of data quality, including the regularity of dataset maintenance, the completeness and richness of metadata, and the accessibility and functionality of published resources. In addition to highlighting positive trends and examples of good practice, this report also helps identify potential shortcomings and areas where further improvements may be required.

More than a monitoring tool, the report serves as a mechanism for supporting the continuous improvement of open data publication practices. Through a standardized analytical view, organizations gain valuable insights for improving the quality of their datasets, while users benefit from greater transparency and a clearer understanding of the strengths and limitations of the data available on the portal.
